In 1985, initiative and opportunity lead Sue Melke into the Australian and international film industry, where she held the position of National Publicity & Promotions Manager for Sydney's Dendy and Melbourne's Kino cinemas. In this capacity, Sue co-ordinated media campaigns for film releases, focusing on publicity for actors and directors including Emmy award-winning Helen Mirren and Colin Firth, Academy Award-winning directors Kenneth Brannagh and Mike Leigh and cult film directors Jim Jarmusch, Spike Lee, Patricia Rozema and Wim Wenders.
Australian and International Entertainment and Music Industries
It was a natural progression for Sue to build her own business as she focused on the Australian and international entertainment and music industries. Two years later, Sue was at the helm of her own organisation taking on a variety of clients offering services in the areas of venue entertainment consultancy, Australian tour co-ordination, publicity, special events marketing, artist management and media liaison.

Shortly thereafter, Sue had recognised the need for a company to offer services in the area of aligning corporate sponsorships and endorsements with entertainment and music opportunities. Melke – Marketing With Music was born, offering this niche marketing service to the corporate arena.
Sue is currently based out of Los Angeles and structuring joint venture opportunities for Melke, with a view to growing the business globally at an exponential level.
Sue is the CEO and Managing Director of Melke Pty Limited with clients including but not limited to AAMI, ACP magazines, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Avon, AFL, Bacardi, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), Carlton United Breweries, Ralph Lauren, Aussie, Kelloggs, Lipton and Patts Y & R Sydney and Melbourne.
